Make gender and nutrition part of how your institution works
A diagnostic for African agricultural institutions
Tanager is implementing the Impacting Gender and Nutrition through Innovative Technical Exchange in Agriculture Plus (IGNITE+), a technical assistance program that supports African agricultural institutions to integrate gender and nutrition into their business practices and agricultural interventions.
Your result places you on a five-stage scale
Scores run from 0 to 4 for gender and for nutrition.
Example scores for illustration only.
Gender inequality and malnutrition hold back Africa's food systems
Tanager, with more than 200 staff across 5 countries, works to change that. IGNITE+ is one of its projects.
The challenge
Why institutions need support
Gender inequality limits who can farm, earn and decide. Malnutrition limits how households eat and grow. Many agricultural institutions want to address both but lack practical tools and technical guidance.
What IGNITE+ does
Technical assistance that fits your institution
The IGNITE+ project is a five-year technical assistance project implemented by Tanager to strengthen African institutions' ability to integrate gender and nutrition into their way of doing business and their agriculture interventions. It extends the IGNITE project, which Tanager implemented from 2018 to 2024.
